All performers are dominated by the weight of what others have done. Young musicians enter into an absentee competition with venerable colleagues, trying to play faster and louder. Today, during the training period, every young performer in search of the perfect sample goes to the Internet. For many professors YouTube has become a true assistant in the pedagogical process: the teacher recommends the records selected by him to the student as a textbook. This is as detrimental as the traditional system of education of musicologists, each scientific work of which should contain references and quotations from, preferably, all works devoted to this topic. On the one hand, the Internet pushed the walls of concert halls, allowed the artist to appeal to a larger number of listeners, but on the other hand, the number of trained listeners is catastrophically small. That is why the responsibility of the artist for the quality and level of what he has done has increased many times, because the unprepared listener, and with him the future artist, are not able to distinguish the genuine from the cheap surrogate.
