Abstract
The essay was written on the occasion of the eightieth anniversary of the eminent violinist and conductor Vladimir Spivakov, the creator and permanent director of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia. The famous pianist-accompanist, and professor at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, Semyon Skigin, talks about his decades-long personal acquaintance, friendly communication and creative collaboration with the outstanding musician, recalling the most striking episodes. The publication is accompanied by photo illustrations.
