Svetlana A. Petukhova
Born in Minsk (Belarus), graduated from the Secondary Specialized Music School of the Belarusian State Conservatory (1987), the Department of Music History and Theory of Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (1992) and its postgraduate course (1997). Author of books: “The Bibliography of Tchaikovsky’s Life and Creation. Index of Literature Published in Russian Language in 140 years” (2014), “‘Romeo and Juliet,’ Ballet by Sergei Prokofiev. Research” (2018; translated into English in 2021), “Oresteia by S. I. Taneyev: Research and Materials” (2024), “Fenella: The Phenomenon of the Mute Character in 19th-Century Musical Theatre” (2025), as well as more than 120 scientific articles and publications.
