Svetlana A. Petukhova

Born in Minsk (Belarus), graduated from the Secondary Specialized Music School of the Bela­rusian State Conservatory (1987), the De­part­­ment of Music History and Theory of Tchai­­kov­sky Moscow State Conservatory (1992) and its postgraduate course (1997). Author of books: “The Bib­liography of Tchaikovsky’s Life and Creation. Index of Literature Published in Russian Language in 140 years” (2014), “‘Romeo and Juliet,’ Ballet by Sergei Prokofiev. Research” (2018; translated into English in 2021), “Oresteia by S. I. Taneyev: Research and Materials” (2024), “Fenella: The Phe­nomenon of the Mute Character in 19th-Century Musical Theatre” (2025), as well as more than 120 scientific articles and pub­lications.
