Aleksandra E. Maksimova

Candidate of Art Criticism, Associate Professor of the Russian Music History Department at Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory. Her work is based on the study of archival materials and covers the Russian music theatre (including ballet) of the second half of 18th—early 19th Cen­tury. Organizer and participant of international festivals and conferences of the Moscow Conservatory. Among her publications is the monograph “Russian Ballet Theatre of Catherine’s Times. Russia—West” (Moscow: Composer, 2010).
