Danila V. Lyubimov

Born in 1996 in Perm. Graduated from the Music Theory Department of Perm Music College (2016). In 2017–2022 he studied musicology at Glinka Nizhny Novgorod State Conservatory. Since 2022—a postgraduate student of the Mu­sical Art Department at Vaganova Russian Ballet Academy (St. Petersburg). His research interests are connected with the ballet theater of the XX century, the activities of M. M. Fokine, S. P. Diaghilev and his troupe “Russian Ballet” (1908–1929). The focus is on the study of or­chestral ballet scores, as well as the study of the phenomenon of non-ballet music on the ballet stage. He is an active participant in international and all-Russian scientific and practical conferences in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Saratov, Novosibirsk, Astrak­han, Rostov-on-Don, Perm, Yekaterinburg. Author of publications in Russian scientific journals (including those reviewed by the Higher Attes­tation Commission). Winner of the XXXI In­ter­national Competition of Students’ Research Works in the Field of Musical Art—2021 (The Gnesins Russian Academy of Music, 1st prize in the nomination “Musical Culture and Art of the 20th–21st century. Non-academic, Stage, and Mass Genres”).
