Bogdan A. Korolyok
Assistant Artistic Director of the Ballet Troupe and Editor-Compiler of the Ural Opera Ballet Theatre (since 2016, Yekaterinburg). Graduated from the Krasnoyarsk Choreographic College, Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet, and St. Petersburg State University. Worked as a ballet dancer at the Opera and Ballet Theater of Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory and as an editor of the Publishing Department of the Mariinsky Theatre. Author of texts on theater and academic music in Russian periodicals and publications of the Bolshoi and Mariinsky theaters. Co-author of the anthology “New Russian Music Criticism. 1993–2003” (in 3 volumes; Moscow, 2014–2016). Author of the scripts of the ballets “The Order of the King” and “The Little Humpbacked Horse” (co-authored with V. Samodurov, Ural Opera Ballet Theatre), “The Guide to Ballet” (Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre). Laureate of the All-Russian Award for Young Musical Critics “Resonance.”
