Candidate Dissertation: “Principles of Soviet piano sonata in their connection with interpretation problems” (Moscow Conservatory, 1977). Doctoral Dissertation: “Performance styles in the context of artistic culture of the 18th–20th centuries” (1994). Professor of Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, Head of the Subdepartment of History and Theory of Musical Performance.
