Vasilisa A. Aleksandrova
Musicologist. Born in Leningrad, she got her specialist degree in musicology at Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory, and pursued her postgraduate studies at the State Institute for Art Studies under supervision of N. I. Teterina. Candidate Dissertation “History of Studying M. P. Mussorgsky’s Legacy in the Author’s Versions (Late 19th—First Third of the 20th Century)” (2022, under the supervision of N. I. Teterina). Since 2018, she has been working at the State Institute for Art Studies as a researcher at the Department of Academic Music Publishing. The major fields of her specialization are history of Russian and Soviet music, including musical textual criticism, musical publishing and editing, life and work by M. P. Mussorgsky, editorial work by P. A. Lamm, academic and creative work by B. V. Asafiev, piano music by G. V. Sviridov.
