Abstract

Obituary is dedicated to the memory of Alexander Aronovich Knaifel (1943–2024)—the great Russian composer, whose heritage represents a unique creative phenomenon. The article briefly describes his path as a musician and philosopher, as well as highlighting creative constants such as the idea of numerical construction and original interpretation of the word.
