Johannes Kreidler
Born in 1980 in Esslingen. From 2000 to 2006 he studied composition with Mathias Spahlinger at the Institute for New Music of the University of Music in Freiburg, electronic music with Orm Finnendahl, and music theory with Eckehard Kiem. As an auditor, he attended seminars in philosophy and art history at the University of Freiburg. From 2006 to 2019, he taught composition and music theory at the University of Music and Drama in Rostock, the University of Music, Drama and Media in Hanover, and the Hamburg University of Music and Drama. Since 2019, he has been teaching at the University of Music in Basel. He lives in Berlin and regularly teaches composition at the Darmstadt Summer Course.
