Alena D. Verin-Galitskaya
Musicologist, journalist and contemporary music singer. She graduated from the Gnesins Russian Academy of Music in 2021 (class of Professor L. L. Gerver), and from the Rimsky-Korsakov Krasnodar College of Music in 2016. Her research interests include early music, improvisation, electronics. She is a regular writer of “Musical Life” magazine. In 2021, she became the official voice of “Innovation” Art Award. Alyona Verin-Galitskaya has sung in “Five Evenings,” “Moscow Forum,” “Moscow Autumn,” “Opus 52,” “Gnesin Сontemporary Music Week” festivals. She participates in “CoOPERAtion-Lab” and is a soloist of “La Gol Theatre” under the direction of Natalia Pshenichnikova. She has collaborated with numerous ensembles such as “Studio for New Music,” MCME, GAMEnsemble, OpensoundOrchestra and performed a number of Russian and world premieres.
