Tobias van der Pals

Cellist. He finished his diploma at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in 2004 under professor M. Zeuthen. In 2007 he finished his postgraduate diploma with honorary at the Royal Academy of Music in London under professor D. Strange. Tobias van der Pals has also studied under professor F. Helmersson (Umeå University, Sweden) and professor J. Goritzki (Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama); has also studied musicology at Lund University (Sweden). He is the great grandson of Nikolai van Gilse van der Pals. He is assistant of the composer Leopold van der Pals and has published several world premier recordings of his works.
