Nina D. Sviridovskaya

Born in Moscow. Graduated with honors from Schnittke Music College and then from the Department of Music History and Theory at Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory. In 2004 completed her postgraduate studies at the Moscow Conservatory. In 2010, defended her Candidate dissertation “Musical-Critical Heritage of the Silver Age: Autointerpretation of the Epoch” (supervisor—Prof. E. G. Sorokina); in 2011, published the monograph of the same name. At present—Senior Lecturer of the Russian Music Department at the Moscow Conservatory, Lecturer of the Music Theory Department of the Gnesins Special Music School. The main sphere of scientific interests—Russian music culture of the beginning of the 20th century.
