Nataliya N. Surnina

Musicologist, musical critic. Born in Votkinsk in 1983. She graduated from the Music History and Theory Department of Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (2007) and completed her postgraduate course there in 2010. She was
employed by the Science and Education Depart­ment of Bakhrushin State Central Theatre Mu­seum; in 2011–2017 she was the literary manager of Boris Pokrovsky Chamber Musical Theatre, in 2017–2019—an editor of the Literary and Drama section of Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Dan­chenko Moscow Academic Music Theatre. Since February 2019, she has been a press officer for the Moscow State Philharmonic Society. She also hosts classical music concerts at St. Peter and Paul Cathedral, Moscow. The winner of the “Resonance” Young Critics award.
