Candidate of Art Criticism, Associate Researcher of the Laboratory for Digital Studies of Literature and Folklore of the Institute of Russian literature (Pushkin House) of the Russian Academy of Sciences; custodian of the fund of Mekhnetsov Folklore and Ethnographic Center of Rimsky-Kor­sakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory. Par­ticipant of 17 folklore and ethnographic expeditions in different regions of Russia: Smolensk, Pskov, Kirov, as well as in the Udmurt Republic and the Republic of Bashkortostan. Initiator and organizer of complex folklore expeditions in the Kirov region and the Udmurt Republic. Primary areas of research are connected with Russian old-timers’ traditions and inter-ethnic communication. The results and the materials of the study are published in the Non-Material Cultural Heritage Items Digital Catalog. In 2015 the manual “Musical Folklore in Calendar Rites of Russian Old-Timers of the Udmurt Republic” was published.
