Elvira G. Panaiotidi

Born in Vladikavkaz (Orzhonikize). Graduated from Astrakhan State Conservatory in 1984. Became a Candidate of Science (Education) at Mos­cow State Pedagogical University (1994), Doc­tor of Philosophy at the Institute of Philo­sophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Mos­cow, 2005). Research fellowships: German Aca­demic Exchange Service (DAAD), Alexander von Hum­boldt Foundation, Volkswagen Foundation, Alexan­der S. Onassis Benefit Foundation. Has pub­­li­­­ca­­tions in Russian and international periodicals. Fields of research: aesthetics, philosophy and his­tory of music and music education.
