Olga L. Berak

Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, teacher-methodologist of higher education. Born in 1945 in Moscow. She graduated from the Music Theory Department of the Academic College at Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, then from the historical, theoretical and composition department of The Gnesins State Musical Pedagogical Institute (from 1992—the Russian Academy of Music), and postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Psychology, Lomonosov Moscow State University. From 1971 to 2020, she worked at The Gnesins Russian Academy of Music (Se­nior Laboratory Assistant at the Automated Music Teaching Class, Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, Professor at the Department of Music Theory). Author of more than 70 scien­tific articles, a textbook in six parts “School of Rhythm.” Gives lectures on improving the learning process and master classes in ear training.
