Alexandre A. Moutouzkine

Alexandre Moutouzkine is a pianist, laureate and winner of more than 20 international competitions, including the Naumburg Competition (New York), the Cleveland International Piano Competition, the Montreal International Music Com­petition, the Maria Canals Music Competition (Barcelona), the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition (Tel Aviv).

Born in Yoshkar-Ola. In 1995, being a student at Nizhny Novgorod Musical College (class of Natalia Fish), he won the first prize at the International Vladi­mir Krainev Piano Competition and in the same year entered the class of Krainev in Hanover. He completed his postgraduate studies at the Manhattan School of Music (New York; under the direction of Solomon Mikowsky), where he was appointed its faculty member in September 2013.
