Vladimir I. Martynov

Сomposer, philosopher, writer, historian, connoisseur of ancient and modern music. He Conservatory in composition and piano. In 1978, Vladimir Martynov devoted himself to religious ministry. He teaches at the Theological Academy of the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius, is engaged in deciphering and restoring monuments of ancient Russian liturgical singing, studying ancient singing manuscripts in a number of monasteries. Creates music for worship according to ancient canons.
