Antonina V. Lebedeva-Emelina
Doctor of Art Criticism, leading researcher at the State Institute of Art Studies. Graduated from Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (scientific supervisor—E. M. Levashev). In 1994, she defended her candidate dissertation “Russian choral culture of the second half of the 18th century,” in 2018, — her doctoral dissertation “Russian choral art of the second half of the 18th— early 19th centuries as a holistic phenomenon.” Since 1992, she has worked in the music sector at the State Institute of Art Studies. She has over 120 scientific papers. Among them are monographs: “Russian Sacred Music of the Classical Era (1765–1825). Catalog of Works” (Moscow, Progress-Tradition, 2004); “Choral Culture of the Catherine Era” (Moscow : Composer, 2010. 304 p.); “Music of the Liturgy of the Classical Era. Music Publications

She took part in academic collective works, including the ten-volume History of Russian Music (chapters in vols. 3, 10-v), the History of Russian Art in 22 volumes (vols. 14, 15), Russian Sacred Music in Documents and Materials (vol. 8, books 1 and 2, vol. 9); in the publication of the score of the first author's edition of the opera Boris Godunov by M. P. Mussorgsky in PASS (Vols. 1–2. Moscow— Mainz: Music Publishing House, Schott Publishing House, 1996).
