Igor M. Krasil’nikov
Composer, Doctor of Education, Chief Researcher, Professor of the Art Pedagogy Department of the Institute of Art Education and Cultural Studies of the Russian Academy of Education (Moscow). Born in 1952. Graduated from Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory as a composer and a pianist (1976). Member of the Union of Russian Composers (1979). Since 2000, he has been working at the Institute of Art Education and Cultural Studies of the Russian Academy of Education, since 2004—editor-in-chief of the magazine “Music and Electronics.” Author of 70 musical opuses, including ballet, orchestral, chamber vocal and choral works. He has also written music for movies, plays and computer games. He has performed solo piano concerts in Moscow and Berlin. He recorded 11 opuses of 20th-Century composers and a CD of piano music in Berlin. His research interests are related to the development of electronic musical creativity in the system of art education. He has published 360 scientific and methodological papers on this issue.
