Natalya V. Korolevskaya

Graduated from Saratov State Sobinov Conservatory in 1990 with a degree in musicology. In 2008 she defended her thesis on the theme “Logic of Sense-Making in the Genres of Vocal Cycle, Oratorio and Vocal Symphony (Based on the Works of Saratov Composers)”. Since 2002 she has been working in Saratov State Sobinov Conservatory as an associate Professor of History of Music. Research interests — the problem of relations between words and music, the logic of meaning in music, the sphere of musical and poetic synthesis, the creative process of the composer through the prism of the semantic process, the work of composers of Saratov. Natalya Korolevskaya is the author of more than 40 scientific articles, including the monograph «Word and Music in the Works of Saratov Composers: in the Spaces of Meaning», and more than 50 articles in the genre of musical journalism.
