Member of the Composers’ Union of Russia (1980), RussianGerman Tchaikovsky Society (Tübingen), Richard Wagner Gesellschaft (Bаyreuth). Student and follower of Full Professor Yu.N. Tyulin. Author of over 150 scientific works. Sphere of his scientific interests is very wide, from musical source study — to the problems of musical poetics; from musical psychology and composer’s creative process — to the history and theory of Western European culture in whole; from communicatory problems of art — to the phenomenon of composer’s creative role and cultural strategy.
