Vladimir A. Ivanov-Rakievskiy
Pianist, independent researcher. Born in 1986 in Irkutsk. In 2009 he graduated from Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory as a pianist (Faculty of Historical and Contemporary Performance, class of A. B. Lyubimov and A. O. Shevchenko). In 2011, he completed a master’s degree at the Institute of Ancient Music of the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media (class of Z. Meniker). In 2015, he completed a master’s degree at the Zurich University of the Arts (class of K. A. Scherbakov). In 2017, he completed a postgraduate study at Moscow Conservatory (class of A. B. Lyubimov). Laureate of the International Competition of Young Pianists, Duo-Pianists and Chamber Ensembles named after Maria Yudina (St. Petersburg, 2013, 1st Prize), the Fritz Neumeyer International Piano Competition (Bad Krozingen, Germany, 2012, 3rd Prize), the Alexander Scriabin International Competition for Young Pianists (France, Paris, 2009, 1st Prize).
