Filipp S. Ilyin

Born in Moscow in 1995. In 2014, graduated from The Gnesins State Musical College (percussion instruments). In 2020, graduated from the Mos­cow Institute of Contemporary Art with a degree in musical instrumental performing (instruments of the jazz band). He has been a master student in the musical curatorship program at the Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences (Shaninka; 2021–2023). He was a member of the jury at Grishin 5th Public Festival of young performers on percussion instruments. He is a member of the Russian Musical Union. One of the organizers of the lecture-concert dedi­cated to the 185th death anniversary of J. M. Gu­sikov (October 21, 2022). He is a laureate of International and all-Russian competitions. Win­ner of the Special Prize for quality work with historical references at the 2nd International Musicological Competition “Music Academy.”
