Dmitriy N. Illarionov

Classical guitarist, winner of the grand prix of the largest competition of classical guitar “Guitar Foundation of America” (2002), nominee for the long list of “Grammy” awards. Born in 1979. In 1993, he entered the Academic Music College at Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (the guitar class of N. N. Dmitrieva). In 1997, he entered the Gnesins Russian Academy of Music (class of A. K. Frauchi), in 2002—the assistant-internship. Illarionov performs in Russia, Europe, Asia, USA. He participated in the festivals “December Nights of Svyatoslav Richter,” “Crescendo,” “Re­turn,” “World of the guitar,” “Generation of stars,” Ca­sals festival and “Annecy-classic” in France, the largest forums of classical guitar: “Guitar Asso­ciation of America” (GFA), a symposium in Iserlohn (Germany). One of the organizers of the International Competition and Frauchi Guitar Festival (Moscow) and the head of the “classical” day of the festival “Guitar World” (Kaluga). Founder of Moscow International Festival “Gui­tar Virtuosos.” Since 2012—artistic director of the International Guitar Festival in Novosibirsk.
