Vadim M. Gayevsky

Born in 1928. Russian theater and literary critic, ballet expert, Honored Arts Worker of the Russia. Professor of the Theater and Cinema History De­partment, Institute of Philology and History, Russian State University for the Humanities. Author of books and articles on ballet masters of the 19th and 20th centuries (Jules Perrot, Marius Petipa, George Balanchine, Maurice Bejart and others).
