Mikhail A. Fuksman

Born in 1964. Composer, teacher, musicologist, performer, writer. Candidate of Art Criticism. Asso­ciate Professor of Rachmaninov Rostov State Conservatory. Author of chamber operas, works for orchestras of various types, instrumen­tal chamber opuses, vocal and choral pieces, electro-acoustic compositions, performances, mu­sic for the theater. In scientific and methodical works, he explores the problems of musical composition, instrumentation and organology, composers’ life in Rostov-on-Don.
