Olga S. Bulychyova

Composer. Born in Moscow in 1975. She graduated from the Musical College at the Schnittke Moscow State Institute of Music in 1999. The first teacher of composition was Yu. L. Tugari­nov, then continued her studies with a professor at Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory T. A. Chu­dova. In 2011 she graduated from the Ippo­litov-Ivanov State Music Pedagogy Institute (pro­fessor E. I. Podgaits). Author of piano suite, string quartet “Awakening,” a cycle of romances on the verses of Japanese emperors, the piano sonata “Question of Eternity” (μια ερώτηση αιωνιότητα), “Saga” for symphony orchestra based on the Irish folk epic. A diptych for violin and piano “Nocturne and Perpetuum mobi­le” (2017) was presented at the “Moscow Autumn” festival. Since 2001 she has been involved in staging a drama in verse by A. Blok “Balagan­chik” directed by P. Kudryavtsev as a pianist and composer, as well as in other Moscow theatrical and musical projects. Author of music for animated films “The Legend of Peter and Fevronia” (director N. Mikhailova, 2008) and “Another” (director A. Shepilova, 2008).
