Aleksandr A. Boldachev

Harper, composer and teacher. Born in St. Peters­burg. He received his primary musical education at the Music Lyceum at the St. Petersburg Conservatory in harp (Karina Maleeva) and composition (Svetlana Lavrova). Graduate of the Zu­rich High School of Music (class of harp by Professors Catherine Michel and Sarah O’Brien, compositions by Matthias Steinauer and conducting by Mark Kissochi). He began his concert activity at the age of five, at the same time he composed his first opuses. Winner of more than ten International harp and Composer competitions, winner of awards in the field of culture, including: “British Brilliant Talents” (Great Britain), “ProEuropa” (Austria), Fellow of the international foundations “Vontobel” (Switzerland) and “Banque Populaire” (France). The main composer’s activity is focused on expanding the harp repertoire with his own works and arrangements for the harp. He is the author of music for drama theater performances and short films. Guest soloist of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia, exclusive artist of the “Salvi Harps” and “Lyon & Healy” harp houses, soloist of the “Game of Tones” group.
