Tatiana M. Belova

Opera and music critic. Graduated from The Rus­sian State University for the Humanities under Vadim Gayesvky, majored in theatre studies. Since 1995 publishes articles in the Russian press (“Kommersant,” “Bolshoi Theatre Magazine,” “Mu­sic Academy,” “The Theatre Magazine”). Chief of the Print and Literary Department of Heli­kon Opera (1998–2000). Chief of the Print and Literary Department of the Bolshoi theatre of Russia (2001—present). Expert for the Russian National Theatre Award “The Golden Mask” (2019/2020). Gives public (in Moscow and St. Pe­ters­burg) and academic (Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences of St Petersburg State University, Gnessin Russian Academy of Music) lectures and leads master-classes on opera and critical writing. Takes part in scientific conferences on the history and modern state of opera.
