Sergey V. Anikienko
Candidate of Art Criticism, Associate Professor of the Department of Musicology, Composition and Methods of Music Education, Krasnodar State Institute of Culture, member of the Union of Russian Composers, member of the Union of Russian Journalists. Composer and musicologist. The main area of research is related to archival and textological studies of the works of M. F. Gnesin and the history of the musical culture of the Kuban. He published the monograph “Mikhail Fabianovich Gnesin in Yekaterinodar: Through the Prism of Time” (2017), “Unknown Mikhail Gnesin: articles from the provincial press of the 1910s” (2020) and over 60 scientific publications. He is the author of more than 40 musical works, including the opera “Impatience of the Heart” (according to S. Zweig), a Piano Concert “The Labrador,” Symphonic poem “Karmalyuk.”
