Abstract

To make the scientific publishing process more transparent and to stimulate scientific discussion, the Music Academy journal publishes some peer reviews along with the articles they are devoted. Larissa Kirillina, in her review of Mikhail Mishchenko’s essay, analyses his original authorial approach to researching the title and performing interpretations of Beethoven’s famous sonata history. Kirillina’s review is written according to the “double-blind” peer review rules.
